Alignment Yoga Classes - A Dynamic Yoga Therapy Practice with Tal Swissa 

Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday  9:30-11:00AM at our studio

Come join a different kind of yoga class!

Alignment Yoga is a style of practice Tal has developed out of her own experience and knowledge. You’ll find elements of Yoga-Therapy, Iyengar Yoga, Pilates, Mobility and Somatic Movement Exploration.

Tal has been teaching yoga for nearly 20 years now. Leading Alignment Yoga TTC’s since 2016 at her school Luna Alignment Yoga.

The classes are unique. Every class has a different theme. Such as: core muscles, hip mobility, chest mobility, psoas muscle, nervous system balance, lower back health, spine elongation, therapeutic backbends, breath, optimal posture and so much more...

What to expect in classes?

  • Mobility - elongating and strengthening the body
  • Alignment and Yoga Therapy - practicing in a way that goes with the body's needs, adjusting classic asana, if needed
  • Core Muscles Work- cultivating optimal body posture and optimal breath
  • Nervous System Training and Regulation - diaphragmatic breathing, developing interoception and much more
  • Classic Asana Practice - using classic asana in a therapeutic, dynamic and restorative ways.
  • Yoga Props - using bricks, blankets, bolsters, straps, and the wall in fun, creative ways, as well as in therapeutic, restorative ways
  • Inverted Asanas Against the Wall - handstands, forearm balance, preparation to headstand (but no headstands) and more...

What NOT to expect in classes?

  • Sun salutations and vinyasas
