When in the asana scan your body to find where you need to add tension - by elongating the spine, straightening the knees, fingers and so on…

Then scan the body again to find and release the unnecessary tension in the body - in the face, toes, fingers and then the rest of the body.

Notice how releasing the tension in the body affects the mind.

Later observe the mind during the practice - to find the necessary and unnecessary tension. πŸ‘ˆπŸΎThis one is much harder, but with practice you will find the balance of tension in the mind as well.
