Hugs are Healthy

 Hugs are really good for our health and sense of happiness:
♥️ Hugs help balance our nervous system (for babies loving touch actually builds a healthy nervous system!)
♥️ Hugs help strengthen the immune system. 
♥️ Hugs can increase the oxytocin levels (also called the love hormone) - so we can say that hugs are antidepressants and anti anxiety. 
♥️ Hugs help boost self esteem for kids, but also for adults. 
♥️ Hugs can be a form of meditation - bringing us to the present moment. 
♥️ Hugs are a really good way to come back into our physical body and ground.
