Standing on all fours

Standing on all fours (or ‘all six’ as we call it) is really beneficial for the understanding of the neutral spine and pelvis and also very good for the understanding of the shoulder blades position.
Working with a neutral spine and pelvis is a beautiful way to work on the core muscles.
And working on the shoulder blades position will allow all the muscles that “glow” the shoulder blades to the back to engage properly.
To do that - when standing on all six, create a neutral spine and pelvis, press the palms into the ground, engage the gap between your shoulder blades by pushing up. Make sure not to round the thoracic spine!
The shoulder blades should look like they are one with the back and not sticking out of it.

Enjoy 😊
