The first step to dive deeper into the subtle aspects of your yoga practice is by observing your physical body in the asana.

Find the necessary and the unnecessary tension in your body.

Then notice the breath and the tendency of your mind and emotions.
.
If possible release that unnecessary tension, if not then just observe it.
.
Remember that whatever you have found, in the body, emotions or the mind will eventually change and pass.
