🌴Standing asanas are grounding
🌴Twists are detoxifying
🌴Backbends are anti depressants
🌴Forward bends are Relaxing
🌴Inversions are uplifting and giving courage

Movement is important for the health of the intervertebral discs of the spine.
Without movement they will dry out.
Very often back problems are caused by lack of movement.

Yoga is one form of movement, also dancing, swimming and walking.
